What this actually looks like
The problem
Our client's ops manager was manually logging into multiple platforms every day, copying data into a spreadsheet, then rebuilding reports in Looker Studio by hand. It was slow, error-prone, and ate hours that should have gone elsewhere.
What we built
We piped all data sources into BigQuery using Google Cloud Functions, SFTP, and Hevo, eliminating the manual collection entirely. Looker Studio now pulls live from BigQuery. We also built scrapers to track which companies were posting jobs with competitors, giving the sales team actual targeting intelligence instead of guesswork.
Result
Quarterly reports dropped from ~5 hours to 20 minutes. Annual reports from 5 hours to under 1 -- and the same pattern holds across all their client and partner reports. We also built out a full attribution pipeline, tracking users from source through to conversion and loading the data into BigQuery, giving the team clear visibility into which channels are actually worth the spend.
